Is the software update coming to older fire hd 8? I have 6th generation but no updates past fire os version 5.6

Thomas Woodford says:

I have the 2017 version. It’s an OK tablet for the money. My biggest complaint was the display. I don’t think it’s all that good. I gave Amazon negative feedback on that. For a little more $ they could have provided a better display. I wish they’d bring back an HDX variant like they had before.

Matt Stiles says:

MyCatFooed says:

Hi Lon! Thanks for this Fire update.
Can you link me to a video by you that runs down some of the very best, yet affordable tablets from either this year or 2017?
Thanks so very much! We love your work & appreciate all of the time & consideration that you put forward in your videos.
Much love from Pennsylvania!
