Microsoft Surface Go Review: “Just the $399 Tablet” Edition

The Microsoft Surface Go launched not too long ago and it received a lot of praise from the tech community. However, almost all of the reviews focused on the $549 higher-end model along with the separate $129 Surface Go Signature Type Cover. I wanted to buck this trend and focus purely on the $399 tablet, since, after all, this is the price that Microsoft has been advertising. Check out the video to see if it’s worth it as a standalone Windows tablet!

Thank you

Alex Xander says:

Would the Surface Go be a suitable replacement for a laptop? I’m planning on using it for mostly college stuff such as writing reports and doing homework and I don’t want to spend a whole lot of money on buying something as expensive as a MacBook.

Diogo Silva says:

I liked you made a review with the 399 model and the fact that you didn’t use the keyboard at all. Great video! Congrats

Rob Watkins says:

Nice video sir. I have been thinking about getting one of these.

Scott Anderson says:

Nice. This was helpful.

Josh Biggs says:

Do you have a list of the best store apps you use?

Luis D. says:

Nice video, No USB C (on the more powerful non GO devices) is a letdown. I’m probably better off sticking to Dell for my next upgrade.

the surface go is just way too small. its screen is the same size as my android tablet. i can’t imagine using that keyboard. the alleged raves are just pure hype. the surface 3 is far superior.

Tiffany Tseng says:

Wow! Great video!

Nikka M says:

Really good, balanced review. Nice to get a different perspective using it as a tablet only. Still don’t think Windows is great for touch input, but if you need a fully featured OS this is great and you get it in the size of an ipad.
