Welcome to my Google Pixel 3 review. The regular sized Google Pixel 3 (not the XL model), in my opinion, is the greatest Android smartphone of 2018. Listen in on my Google Pixel 3 review to understand my perspective.

Wide-angle selfie lifehack:
You can use it to take landscapes or other stuff other than yourself. The quality is lesser than the rear facing for sure but if you just wanted to take a wider shot then it works like charm. This method is easily overlooked by many

I think I might get the regular version or the iphone XR. 5.5 inch screen is big enough for me and the size of my hands. Just need an upgrade to a phone that will last me awhile. any suggestions?

puppy6688 says:

For the swipe up home button. You can turn it off. Just go to
“System”, then go to
“Gesture”, and then turn off “swipe up the home button”

I watched your vid and went to subscribe and you had 700. I thought you would have 300000

Sunmeet Kaur says:

M confused with pixel 3 or 3 xl which way should I go, only confusion is if typing on small screen will be fine for big hands like me⁉️

Fritz says:

I agree with you on the gestures. It feels like you’re failing every time you try to swipe up to get the menu, and the animations just reinforce the feeling of not being in control of what you want to do

Hey brother, new to the channel and I gotta say your review was pretty good and comprehensive! I’ve preordered mine and I’m waiting for it to arrive, but I won’t lie I’m a little anxious about battery life. I’m coming from a OnePlus 6, which battery life I thought was awesome. Honestly, I never really checked screen on time when I had the OP6 but I know for taking it off charge at 7 am I would easily have at least 20% by 11 pm, with a mix of LTE/wifi, lots of messaging (texts, WhatsApp), emails, audible, and YouTube/Netflix mixed in there for good measure. I never really do any mobile gaming, just FlowFree while waiting for appointments lol. I also had a Bluetooth watch (Amazfit Bip) connected all day. Taking pictures are intermittent depending on the occassion (I know it’s a separate discussion about whether another phone would be better for me if pictures were not my top priority, but I LOVE stock Android and wanted a different flavour from Oxygen OS).

Do you think I can realistically expect the same battery life?

anon says:

Pretty much agree with you on all those points. If the camera is the most important thing to you, Pixel 3 is a good choice. If things like performance, battery life, price etc. matter to you, OnePlus 6t is probably a better option.

Stephen Thomas says:

Really deciding between this, iphone xr and huawei mate 20 pro. I’m on contract so at the end of the year I can upgrade. Never had an iphone and I saw it in store and the screen seems fine tbh.
