I think some of the info is a little bit incorrect…That chorus has actually 8 bars not 32 the verse has 16 bars everytime you count to 4 it equals 1 bar

Just a pet peeve but I am pretty sure your using the word bar to mean beats. That 16 is beats which is a 4 bar intro.

In 4/4 time, there are 4 beats per bar. I think when he says “32 bars” he means beats or 8 bars. Most music (that I listen to) has 8 bar phrases, meaning you can usually expect something in the music to change every 8 bars (32 beats).
