It’s a good laptop for value and performance. I’ve found that Bestbuy has the best pricing for it.
I’ve got a Lenovo like this and apart from it having a much weaker GPU (and it falling apart) it’s great, I mean portableish fiveM
I have a really similar model that I got for about $750 refurbished (by HP) that I use for editing when I’m not at my desktop, and I love it. It’s worked out so much better than I would have ever expected it to. It has the shittiest trackpad and keyboard I’ve ever owned, but I plug in a keyboard and mouse anyway whenever I use it for editing.
this is last gen guys, get a laptop with an 8th gen processor
£1440. Hahahahahhahha. Very funny. Its 2018 now and majority of decent gaming Laptop are still above £1k.

You got some good specs Broughy. I was going to get an i7 7700hq with a 1070 but then the 6 core i7 8750h Coffee Lake cpus were just around the corner so I decided to wait. May just get the dell G7 with a 1060 and 8750h for a good balance of cpu and GPU power.
(and not break my wallet for $2K for 1070 i7 8750h)

i own the same laptop, it gets a bit hot while gaming but nothing too extreme.
