Buy one at Walmart – http://lon.tv/qw-p1 (affiliate link) – Acer’s Swift 1 has a new Apollo Lake processor and a 13.3″ IPS display. Build quality is pretty decent too but the keyboard needs improvement. See more laptops: http://lon.tv/laptops and subscribe! http://lon.tv/s

The Acer Swift 1 is a pretty good value at this price point – primarily due to its IPS display. It also has a finger print reader for easy access to the system when locked.
Its 2×2 AC wireless radio impressed us for web browsing but it falls short of a competing laptop from Asus with the same processor for graphics and gaming. That said the Asus crashed more often in our testing.
I like the weight and all metal casing. But the keyboard needs a little more time in the design lab.
