swifty1969 says:

Zeos, how would you compare the AKG k712pro to the ATH-AD2000x for gaming and sound quality in general? If you had to choose one between the two, which one would you pick.

Ben Steele says:

Would love to know which you’d recommend more for gaming please- HyperX Cloud2*, or Superlux 668B with HM5 velour pads? Mic doesn’t matter, so think Pro80; and *Cloud2 are on offer so comparable price to 668B+HM5 pads… I’m looking for great immersion and soundstage. Sorry to say I currently own M50X for everything, and am not super satisfied with them for gaming… and I know your opinion of those of course 😉

Akira Pilot says:

I personally prefer headphones but like to try using speakers for gaming or video watching at least once. I just want to find out what I’m missing. But Zeos, I challenge you to prove your claim that speakers are better in the case that it can be argued positively. I will, for the sake of Pure Argument, argue my dissenting opinion that headphones are better if not comprable to speakers. My Current limited understanding of science and psychology related to audio reproduction technology is still limited; But I can tell the difference between sound changes but can’t describe them. I suspect that placebo may be in play and most of not all changes may have been perceived. I think this will make it a fair argument.

Smeg says:

What DAC or and AMP would you recommend for xbox one gamers like me? PS I’m not really techy.

Bruno says:

HighExplosives says:

Some of the less bassy headphones may be good for ultra-competitive FPS gaming

Richard Toth says:

6:51 I can see your face!!!!

do you recomend ath m50x or dt990, for games and music all genres but rock and vocals

Milton Dumay says:

No love for the akg k7xx? XD

Melvin Brennan says:

I’d love to see you review the sound design of Elite Dangerous on PCWORLD. Best sound design I’ve ever heard in a gaming experience.

Daniel Filippus says:

Charles O'Connor says:

I love the review of everything here first off, but you gave the 598’s a no for gaming. I currently have the E10k and 598’s for gaming and was wondering if you could spare a minute to elaborate just a small bit. You said that the 598’s are not good in terms of immersive low-end (which is objectively true). I do use the bass boost on the Fiio for gaming only but the types of games I play are all competitive (CS:GO, Overwatch, etc) which require above positional audio cues from any given headset to give the best edge. Bass aside, would you disagree that the 598 is a solid choice in this regard? I do not play any immersive games and was wondering your opinion

Andre Buwalda says:

Since it’s a new year, what sub 200 dollar/euro headphones would you recommend for wanting to do both music listening and gaming?

Tyler Mountain says:

I have a pair of DT 990 Pro’s (250 Ohm) and they’re really great but I’ve heard a lot of people recommend using an amp with them, got any recommendations for me? (Possibly wrong video as I don’t use my headphones solely for gaming)

aidenhill says:

One question i had, if anyone can answer I’d greatly appreciate it, i game on console, should i use hdmi audio through the speakers in my tv, then use a standard 3.5mm audio cable into my controller, or use a usb dac and switch to optical audio, and also any tips on how to get the best directional sound on game console’s. thanks in advance!

Jens Kjällander says:

Hey Z! Just bought the x2 after your recommendation.
I am playing overwatch, and after some hours of reading I found out the game might run best with 7.1 headphones.

for example hyperx revolvers. I mean, i understand that the x2 totally outbeats the revolvers in all areas, but do you think in overwatch the revolvers could beat the x2 and basicily all competetion because of its own 7.1 drivers?

Or will the x2 beat the revolvers with a soundcard?

Thanks for your videos, love them

Find the Door says:

hd800S or T1 Gen 2 for gaming? i have the budget and am looking at one or another.

Fate says:

I bought a blue nessie long ago for pc but idk how i can use them with xbox one s

Pavel Ohrádka says:

So glad I bought Cloud 2s :3 Already rocking more than a year, still solid. Well spent money. Also, does anyone know which pads they fit? For me, those included – textile ones are hard and un-comfy and the “leather-like” ones are too tight in terms of sound (I can’t hear absolutely anything if I have them on). So would like to replace them.

xIVIx says:

Z what about top headphones for watching anime ?? I would watch that

Kamiel Sadien says:

The DT990 Pro’s are open, wide, affordable and have tremendous bass for open cans. Granted, the 250 ohm variants are a sonofabitch to drive but you can get an amp… or one of the easier to drive versions.

Trovik says:

I need closed headphones for gaming, so should i get the beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 ? i just want to make sure they are good once

lars mikkonen says:

Whats the best headset you can get for around 200$?

Sekuhara Channel says:

hey Z, what do you think about ATH-M40x or Brainwavz HM9 as gaming headphone?

Stef Robbe says:

Hey man, nice vid, I was wondering, if I would buy a superlux HD-688b with the modmic 4.0, whith what pricepoint HEADSET would you compare it?

reynajrobert says:

Hey Z, would you choose the Hifiman 400s or Philips X2 for games like halo 5 and skyrim, thanks!

Sebastian Rogers says:

Open ear headphones are the best for gaminzzz

Solemn DYi says:

G4me One or ADG1X? For dedicated gaming setup and more casual immersion than Competitive. Still, play semi-competitive so want a balance.
