▬ ABOUT THIS VIDEO ▬
Fitbit Ionic Review – RIZKNOWS GPS Smartwatch Reviews. The long awaited new GPS sportwatch from Fitbit is finally here. The new Fitbit Smartwatch is the best Fitbit yet but it’s not the right device for everyone. In terms of design, it reminds me a lot of the original Samsung Gear Smartwatch and Fitbit Blaze. It has a full-color, sunlight readable touchscreen, which is great. The Ionic is also waterproof down to 50 meters and has a PurePulse sensor wrist heart rate monitor that is pretty accurate. Battery life is also pretty good – expect to get at least 4 days on a full charge. Of course, it will act as your all-day activity and sleep tracker, plus you get a daily goal that can be based on steps, distance, calories and more. The Ionic GPS watch also supports activities such as running, biking and hiking as well as non GPS sports like swimming, treadmill running, weights and more. This year, the watch also features Fitbit Coach, which has three pre-loaded workouts with more planned for the future. As far as smart features, it will relay text, calls, calendar events and third party app notifications. You can also control the music playing on your phone from your wrist. But there’s also three new smart features – Fitbit Pay, Fitbit App Gallery and music storage. Overall, we like a lot of things about the Ionic but it’s not perfect yet as you will find out if you watch the video. Still, it’s good a good shot to land on the list for Best GPS Smartwatch 2017 or Best GPS Sportwatch 2017. Hope you enjoyed this Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch review.

Jonny Umble says:

Akaso ek7000 or soocoo c30? Please respond

Tanya Bakerwitz says:

Does this have breadcrumb support for walking and hiking? How does GPS compare to the Vivoactive 3? Will you do a video comparison between this and the VA3?

Stacey Haney says:

Love the Salt Dog Tactical hat!

Joe Burnside says:

does the stopwatch or timer work when the Icon is in workout mode? It is a critical flaw in the Blaze

Jose Eduardo Tschen says:

Liked the review! I have had the Charge HR and now the Charge 2, Fitbit fan for 3 years, but this device doesn’t impress me that much! What I do like is the Fitbit Coach! I am waiting for the review on the Garmin Vivoactive 3 vs. Fitbit Ionic. Maybe in some months, there might be other features that could convince me.

Asad Raza says:

Waiting for ionic vs vivoactive 3 vs series 3 comparison

TheRealDanBond says:

Working on a Garmin vivoactive 3 vs Fitbit Ionic?

Wayne Walters says:

Does the watch show a map when doing a running or walking activity?

RANA AL-SHEMALI says:

Great review as always! Can I sync the ionic with the fitbit app using wifi only? I always have to turn the blutooth on (which consumes a lot of battery!) and then connect the ionic to the wifi.

Sammy Kwok says:

I’m interested in seeing your girlfriend’s face, in addition to her wrist!

Sriram Krishnamurthy says:

I am not able to choose between Garmin Fenix 3 and Fitbit ionic

Nate The Great says:

Too expensive needs to be 250. Also concerned about the screen lag. Otherwise nice device

Richard W says:

It does have glonass

larry_the_villan says:

looks like the original smartwatch aka the Cairo calculator watch

Mr. Mountains. says:

Best reviews! Although this one seems pretty darn big for me personally.

loonatic42 says:

Does it have a HIIT timer ? I find that annoying that it wasn’t there in the Blaze

Emily Seifriz says:

so we def need a fitbit ionic vs apple watch series 3 fitness comparison!

John S. says:

Thank you for the app!

Brian Mitchell says:

I’ll rather have an Apple Watch series 3

Sarah John says:

Can you do a comparison with Fitbit blaze

Kevin James Logan says:

In regards to the section of the vid that you mention swimming. It measures laps, but you said that you don’t get a score. I couldn’t it out what score you mean.

zak00101 says:

No compatibility, no my money. Proprietary cable? We throw up cadence sensor, chest HRM (accuracy)? They always point to the middle and get nothing. Go Garmin, go Polar…

Harry Bizzle says:

Would you recommend this over the Vivoactive 3?

Esayas Alemu says:

It is a great review! Thank you!
