Xiaomi Mi Drone – Review, Specification, First Thought of Live Launch event

May we call it the cheapest 4K drone on the market with autonomous features? I believe so.

A compilations of comprehensive good stuffs from the live launch of Mi Drone by Xiaomi founder Lei Jun and Vice President Hugo Barra which was aired on 25/05/2016.

As for availability, Xiaomi notes that the 1080p Mi Drone “will be crowdfunded on the Mi Home app starting 26 May 2016” while the 4K option “will be available for testing via an open beta programme
at the end of July.” In other words, no you can’t get your hands on it yet.

As for pricing – The 4k version with 2km range costs 2999 Renminbi / 456USD / RM2000 while the 1080p version with 1km range costs 2499 Renminbi / 380USD / RM1600.
