Today we are going to take a look at a sub $90 FPV drone from UDI RC.
This is a great drone / quad copter for beginners. It’s durable, easy to maneuver, has a lot of built in features to make flying easy, and has some minimal FPV features. Even though I found this drone a ton of fun to fly, I found it to be lacking in its FPV functionality and battery life.

Thanks for letting us know that the FPV is trash. I think for any reasonable FPV under 100 dollars, you need to build it as a helicopter using cheap motor sets and prop sets that are sold for quadcopters. Split the cost in quarters.

how high can it go?
It seems like a lot of these quadcopters implement an all-in-one WiFi access point and web server for video and diagnostics; even the big-name units. A cheap ready-to-use wireless LAN chip is probably a lot cheaper for the manufacturer than integrating a screen into the transmitter (and Bluetooth probably has even further reduced range).
using mavic as benchmark reference, this shouldn’t cost more than $40
