This 5.8Ghz FPV flier has excellent FPV and control range. It also has an altitude hold feature that works very well. Its 2MP camera isn’t that bad either. – Excellent control and FPV range out to 150 meters.
– Altitude hold feature works very well. It maintains a steady altitude while you maintain focus on flying FPV.
– Automatic landing: It automatically descends to a landing at the press of a button, or on low battery.
– 2MP 720p HD camera.
– Headless mode and one key return features.

– Motors can not be stopped quickly. Concern of motor overheat if motors continue running after a crash.

I don't know What to call myself says:

Do you think I should get it?

metalfox1911a1 says:

I think I’ll remove the spring in the throttle part of the transmitter so it stays wherever I put it kind of because that’s what I’m accustomed to have not flown any airplane or a helicopter but the type of setting on the transmitter which is better suited for an RC car or a boat

Guitar101Ramstein says:

great channel, what would you would you recommend for an easy to fly quad with decent camera for under 100$ range currently?

Ando says:

Doe it have gps?

Mike100 says:

How can you easily transfer the videos and pictures to your smartphone?

Sam Esposito says:

hey man really need an answer so if you can reply would mean a lot,
can you attach a gopro or your own personal drone camera?

Walt K. says:

Noticed your quad was really stable. Cant seem to get mine to stop drifting as i have trimmed as well as I know how. Any advise. Also, did you or has anyone had trouble putting on the FPV Monitor?

Brian Smith says:

I think it looks cool.

Jamie Holland says:

In some pictures it shows the remote having a lid screen on the bottom. How come when I go to the product every remote comes with a sticker over it showing me the 24mgh sticker… Wtff… anyone?

I don't know What to call myself says:

I need an answer before Black Friday

Great video, I love these drones

Muhammad Wafi says:

hi, may i know if we compare between 509g and tarantula x6, which one do you prefer the most?

Mike Holcomb says:

FYI maybe know a little about the item before making a review. You didn’t set it up right so it wouldn’t fly correctly for ya. Also you don’t push the sticks down like that to turn it off that is strictly for emergency situations. You simply press the start stop to stop the copter.

Rana Dey says:

what is the range?

yellowbird500 says:

New to drones. Hoping this video would help. But don’t know how to turn on receiver and that is not visible on this video. Also how can I determine if I am in beginner, intermediate or advance operation mode? Thanks

Edit: Thanks for prompt reply. New to the world of drones and unfamiliar with the terminology, I struggled to understand the explanation in this video. I was given a slightly used Helizone Falcon 5.8G, (owner ws upgrading) and find that it does not respond well. The trim is unresponsive and it will not elevate beyond a few inches off the ground. Perhaps the previous owner had one too many accidents. That said, it has some pretty bad reviews on Amazon.

Guz Nelmesz says:

I’ve got it its sooooo cooooolllll I love it

PCaddictions says:

that drone looks alot like the Yuneec q500

Wildhog32 says:

Does it not have telemetry on the FPV screen?

Adam Mooberry says:

My only problem is it doesn’t give a low battery indicator until seconds before it drops out of the air. Maybe mine is defective, but having a minute or so to get to a good landing spot would be nice. Just have to time flights I guess.

Ralph Latham says:

No sd card.

Enrique Miranda says:

Hello, can you mount a gopro camera on this drone?

The Sneaky Fox says:

Does this have very much camera lag when you go far away and how much range does it have

Jerry Smith says:

I giggle every time you say “let’s go for a flight!” Lol

Lincolnator says:

Shoot it down.

Quadcopter 101 says:

If you absolutely need it by Christmas, you’ll need to purchase from importers (at a markup) to get it in time. http://amzn.to/2l0LIy3

Walt K. says:

Hello QC 101. Steps 1 and 2 I did, except for centering all the trim tabs. Step 3. How long do you leave the quad undistributed. I did the “Level Correction Method” by holding the sticks inward until the lights start/stop blinking. will try again and let you know the outcome. Thanks for the reply and assistance

timothy garcia says:

I just ordered this one

Leo Martinez says:

hey Quadcopter 101, can you do me a huge favor? What’s the cheapest drone with a gimbal and a good range?

Clear Adventure says:

That camera quality was awful on this quad. I have seen better on a $20 quad.

Villajin Villalobos says:

which is better overall?
this jxd or h502e?

peter62384 says:

i have a jxd50g and it wont climb over about 15-20 feet and i dont no what to do

Jerry Smith says:

Wee bit of lag….wow 75 bucks with 5.8 fpv that’s cheap! I believe I seen it for 59 without fpv gear…I’d like to have the camera system to put on my x8c

peter62384 says:

hi has anyone got any ideas why my jxd509g wont climb more than about 20 feet, thanks

Craig Smith says:

Thanks for all of your reviews. I am now a subscriber!

TCarts says:

Do you think I would be able to mount a polaroid cube on this? Thanks I appreciate it

riverstrat says:

I keep hearing 8 meters, that’s not very good, are you saying 80 meters ?

MechReports says:

this thing looks great! 100m range and the battery’s and the actual drone are super cheap on ebay! looks like a little xmas prezzie to me 🙂 thanks alot for the helpful video!

trey down says:

A Fox Vlogs says:

Corn Flakes257 says:

The Ryze Clan says:

Darrin Isenberg Drones - over - Oklahoma says:

Thanks for the video reviews i rely heavily on your thoughts of the quads before i buy. Im i wrong to think you could use fat shark goggles for this quad? Also they do make a cardboard goggle that fits those monitors you can get off amazon for your info! And yes i know you can use vr goggles but i hate how they split the screen. Anyway Thanks.
