JDTOYS JD-10HW Long Flying WiFi FPV Drone Flight Test Review

This FPV flier has extra long flight time at over 9 1/2 minutes. Find it here $4 off with coupon HTYJD https://goo.gl/mbdO92

Pros
– Actually a good flier for being an altitude hold quadcopter.
– Has altitude hold, autonatic takeoff and landing, headless mode, and one key return.
– Uses the widely available “WiFi UFO” app. Also can be controlled via your smartphone, either by virtual joysticks, or using the G sensors of your phone. Find the app here on Google Play https://goo.gl/xjNBnd and here on itunes https://goo.gl/hSENBY.
– 750mah battery makes this a long flier at over 9 1/12 minutes.
– Does not require FAA registration.

Cons
– VGA resolution video (640 x 480 pixels)

I am continued to be chagrined that manufacturers are still making these worthless wi-fi “so called” FPV drones. The FPV performance is so dismal, its probably only good for flying indoors. The freezes and drop-outs are really terrible. I suppose if you want to use it to take lousy “selfies” from 20-25 feet away, it may have a purpose, but the best thing to do would be to take off that wi-fi disaster camera and just fly it without it .. LOS. It doesn’t fly bad, although I’m not a big fan of these toy grade “altitude kind of hold” drones either. Does have a nice long flight time, but you can do that with any of these mini quads by sticking a 750mah (or greater) LiPo in them. Thanks for the review. Not sure this is going to be a “hot seller” with its obvious drawbacks, but some may find a use for it … not that it’s cheap. Cheers.
