It might be worth keeping your head up. The patch antenna spent most of the time pointing at the ground. You might also get better reception with a linear antenna than circular, given that the quadcopter vtx has a linear antenna.

Great video, looks like a fun little thing. How hard is it to hook up the goggles?

Would the a 3.7v 500mAh 1s 30c battery fry a TX03? Please respond, I’m considering purchasing both.

Waza says:

C rating is basically just a multiplier for the energy that the battery can give out. 1C = 1*battery capacity which is the default recommended charge current for pretty much every lipo battery.
220mah 75/150c battery can give 75*220mah of amperage out continuously and 220mah*150 as burst charge which should be something like 10s duration but depending on manufacturer can be pretty much as short as few hundred milliseconds.

Battery manufacturers often aggravate the real potential of the battery since there really is no standard that the battery has to maintain a certain voltage for x amount of time at the rated amperage to be rated at certain specs, but technically 75c battery should give out 75*it’s capacity until it is depleted*** without excessive heat and maintaining acceptable voltage. Usually the C rating means how much the battery can be loaded safely without it failing, so 75*220mah battery should perform great at 16.5 amp load for the voltage range of the battery.

C rating * capacity * voltage = maximum wattage of the battery.
Always charge at 1C unless you know that your battery is OK with higher charge rates ( 1C charge = 1*Battery capacity in ampere hours, so for 220mah battery is 1*220mah/1000=0.22ah so 0.2 amp charge current is the safest choice. )

Always pick a battery that suits your needs. 1300mah 45c battery is better than 2000mah 20c battery when you need more than 40 amps of continuous load.

It looks the video stream has a intermittent double hiccup so to speak.
