David Woutersen says:

Finally you got it! 😀
Oh, wait.. you got me, sneaky Kai!

..What was BM thinking? €1k for a 1080p action camera with no stablization.. They’ve set the bar very low so they can update it in a couple of months with MANY improvements.

Richard Simko says:

Who comes here for Kai and who for the gear review? Would be an interesting poll.

Attila Nemes says:

aaaaaa i like this drtv feeling

gunnarsandberg1 says:

Maybe I’ll get my hands on an used “Panasonic AJ HPX3000 B3” ! Equipped with: AJ-HVF21G viewfinder ,SHAN-TM700 camera plate, Portabrace bag, 2 Batteries, Li-Ion 14,4V/126Wh, V-lock, SWIT Charger/AC-adapter, V-lock, SWIT Batteriplate Sony V-mount, HJ17ex7.6B IRSE, Canon, and 2*64GB P2 memory card! price, 60.000 NOK(Norwegian kroner) = 6.941$

Pramod Bhattarai says:

Which camera are you using to shot this review, look awesome .

Reverend Evolution says:

It doesn’t work as an action camera because IT ISN’T AN ACTION CAMERA. It’s meant for shooting in places where a regular sized cinema camera would be to big. Would be nice if you would review that camera by using it for it’s intended purpose like say shooting chroma key in a studio mounted on a tripod or maybe on a small jib arm or something. This video was just silly really.

Cassius Grey says:

but what this camera actually for then? I can’t find one reason to get it over literally anything else.

yonut98neq says:

damn that cameraman really has to learn how to keep the camera leveled/straight…

Daniel Huang says:

anyone think the colour grading in this video looks wired?

Sandra Qi says:

Why didn’t u use a O.I.S lens to get Image Stabilization????

Tech and Science 5 says:

Great content! Keep up the videos!

oc2phish07 says:

Thank all the Gods for Kai and Lok. Their videos are consistently like a breath of fresh air after some of the rubbish I have subjected myself to in the last couple of days. Kai and Lok produce videos ranging from pure fun, through semi-tongue-in-cheek stuff and genuine tutorial-type content where we can actually get some great tips and in-depth reviews of many kinds. I cannot believe some of the ridiculous and extremely biased anti-Sony postings this week from other presenters since the new A9 was announced. And no, I am not a Sony fan-boy or user. I am Nikon DSLR and Fuji X-Pro2 at the moment but I appreciate that Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax, Canon, Leica and Sony all make great cameras (and some lemons too of course) and I can see why some people love them to bits. Thanks for this video Kai, and for all your other stuff. Keep them coming. And if some weird guy with an X-Pro2 comes up to you in, or near, Gerrard Street and offers to buy you a coffee, please say OK.

Names says:

That camera hat a better quality than your main camera 😛

Carlos Mencia says:

Swear I won’t buy that camera

Jacob Ferguson says:

This is not an action camera, it’s a pro camera with a “micro” formfactor to fit it in places you can’t get a full cinema camera.

orange42 says:

c300ii looked a bit bad in comparison. Too contrasty profile?

David Jimenez says:

Kai I used to love your videos but this video is more about you than the camera! We almost didn’t see footage from the camera…! }
The footage you shot on the Micro camera is completely ugly because is not balance properly. Is not the best camera as well, definitely. I think the test you made is not the proper test for that camera, and the beauty of that camera is use it with DaVinci Resolve.
Please invest on good graphic design as well, your Logo sucks! The name of your channel, mmm… soviet era?

anonymous Sender says:

I’m sorry, but this guy is just the WORST in every review I’ve seen. You have to know what you’re talking about if you want to write a review. As everyone has said, it’s not an action cam. It’s designed to be used wirelessly (for the most part) on drones and mounted to things too risky to put a hefty cinema camera on. Sorry man, but your reviews are just the worst. Your humor too.

Majid Almualla says:

this guy came from photographer background and he need to learn more about film gear , and he always thinks he’s making a comedy show ،so we don’t know if he is joking or serious

furdibalazs says:

It’s not a review, not even a comparison. It was supposed to be good but your ruined it. Almost everything you said is pointless. Thanks for nothing 😉

legendp2011 says:

the bmcc (and bmpcc) camera has been used on film sets like the avengers and the latest bourne film. I would much rather have 1080p raw with 13 stops of dynamic range, rather than compressed 4k 8 bit with 10 stops

The Bunn says:

Why does the footage look soooooo gooooood though?

Meh Producciones says:

What clamp are you using on the camera?

thisislaifu / 인생삼아 says:

He smells like fish

Leah Edwards says:

1:11 I always stick my Sd’s in the upper pocket on the right side in my jeans! Quick access too

Jack De La Mare says:

It was never supposed to be an action camera? This dude is so irritating, always has been, always will be. Remember when he painted a 7D pink?

Tom Esendam says:

That would be a great cam to mount under a drone!

Jonathan Snow says:

LOL why did you guys put on roller blades if you didn’t know how to skate?

Rufus Mullhaupt says:

They’ve made a micro cinema camera 4K version for d
$200 more.

Cristian Serrano says:

It isn’t meant to work as an action cam, more like a micro production camera.

Robin says:

I first thought
“Another chinese that makes camera videos?
what a stereotype”

Yilmaz Aydo says:

Whatever this is shot on. The colorgrading is done soooo cinematic man. I loved it !

_窮 says:

“This camera is recommended to be used with a gimbal or mounted on a car..” Doesn’t show any test footage of it in a gimbal or mounted on a vehicle. I wanted to like the review, more there was more footage messing about than an actual review on this. Kinda disappointed.

Andrea Giustino says:

Cameras without display are so uncomfortable to use…

ben arnis says:

Remember when Kai’s humor was lost on some people who don’t understand the concept for this channel? These videos are for entertainment. they are sponsored and hilarious. I’d rather watch this top gearesque hilarious goofy review than a straight laced drone but that’s because I’m watching for entertainment and not expecting this host to give a real review. C’mon, if you have watched any of his solo videos its full on goofing off. It’s like top gear vs. 5th gear. Completely different concepts. If you folks are looking for a serious review you have landed in the wrong place. Who are you to hate on a (fellow?)content creator? These people are putting it out there and uploading content for our enjoyment. Don’t crap down their throats. Make your own video! Comment back with the link so we can all check out the sick footage!

michael b says:

It is only 1080 BUT you are shooting on a C300 M2 which is only 1080?? Hardly the biggest problem with this camera is the resolution.

Martin Freimann says:

Great review, enjoyed the lo-fi music in the background.

Karvin Sunny Li says:

i will never subscribe to CVPTV

Henrik von Martens says:

Not much information, lots of shaky footage, little actual examples from the BMMCC, too much nonsense and Kai messing about. What was this supposed to be?

Sam Adler says:

Do the pocket cinema camera

Alexander Blackburn says:

hahahaha

TiggerLiveToo says:

this guys is ridiculous, he’s not giving any information about the camera at all, are you trying to sell these or show that you have a goofy side by hiring this incompetent to talk about cameras?
