Actual size of the watch sent on the moon was 39mm! There was a lot of hype of it being larger, but it wasn’t
Absolutely fabulous. Lovely and grail. Thanks for the video and poison.
This is one of my favorite watches of all times, and is definetly screaming for some natos. The omega natos are the best in the bussines imho.
Great video, but I have to say that the badly fitted white glove is disstracting and spoiles the content a bit.
The model worn on the moon actually had a 321 movement which was a column wheel chrono movement discontinued sometime during the 70s and replaced by the 861 movement. The 861/1861 mvt is a cam actuated chrono that gets a lot of unnecessary hate imo for being “cheaper to produce” than its column wheel counterpart.
Congratulations Dave! An excellent piece!
One of the best videos on the First Omega in space out there!
Did you ever make a FOIS strap video, because that would be awesome!
Best regards,
Daniel
Fantastic choice, Dave! Looking forward to your #speedytuesday posts in the UGWC facebook group. Congratulations on your new Omega!
Nice one Dave! I got my new two days ago. Posted pictures of it on the 1125 bracelet yesterday in TGVs FB group. FYI “miros-time.de” offers a small selection of 19mm Natos!
Cheers
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love it, well, you already know that!!!
PURE CLASS.
Best regards,
TGV
Love it: Great white stitching on the leather strap … Hand-wound watches are totally underrated — it’s not applicable here because of the solid back, but given the popularity of display backs, the movement is so much prettier without a rotor in the way, and there’s just something enjoyable about winding a watch!
Very thorough and interesting review. The way you explained the hand winding movement makes this Omega extremely unique. Deciding on this Omega or a Tudor next.
How come you where the one White glove.
Why are you wearing white glove?
This watch looks great. Nice touch with the leather band, for me though I would have liked a little bit darker brown for the band but the watch is stunning!
I wouldn’t mind a state of the collection video sometime soon mate. Lovely watch!
Really wish they’d offer this on a metal bracelet as well.
love the size but black dial looks very boring.. sigh wished they have a blue dial with black straps in the 39.7mm.
Rare watch in my opinion because manual wind, now a days it’s more on automatic. Dreaming to own one. How is SRP of that watch of yours.?
Its a stunner mate welcome to the speedy club 😉
Absolutely stunning time piece.
love love love the channel dave. so nice just to see luxury product with out any showing off or any pretentious crap! SUB +1
Did you decide to keep it?
Stunning watch, just a timeless design. Congrats!
This is one of the best watches I’ve ever seen. l especially love the leather strap! Amazing!
